My First Month in Colorado Springs

I’ve been in Colorado Springs for just over one month after accepting an offer to work at The Navigators headquarters. I’m enjoying gorgeous views, new friends, and a great town to explore. But most of all I am loving my job as the collegiate communications director with The Navigators! I was given a to-do list as long as my arm right when I arrived and I’ve been busy ever since. I’ve already made significant strides in increasing the awareness of our national collegiate web presence.

But this month has not been without challenges. As you may recall Kathy wasn’t able to join me when I first moved to Colorado. Since I left Tallahassee in late January I’ve only seen her once for about half a day when I returned to pick up our moving van. It’s been a difficult season for us, but thankfully it’s coming to an end. Kathy had her last day of work on February 27 and is presently on her way to Colorado!

Follow Campus Navs!

Part of my job is to create and promote the social media presence of Campus Navs. If you want to see what I’m doing online on a day-to-day basis there’s no better way than to connect with the Campus Navs social media accounts. You can find us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. EDIT, December 2021: The Collegiate mission has decided to discontinue posting to their social media channels.

A Great View

My First Month in Colorado Springs

One last thing. This is the view from right across the street from our new home. Not too bad, huh? :)
